Free for every hiker, funded by people who care

Protect the places we hike, and open them to everyone

Neature stays free. Your support covers the cost of running it, and everything beyond that goes to wildlife, climate, communities in need, and basics like clean water, food, and medical care.

What your support does

Wildlife preservation

Protecting habitat for the animals we share the trail with, from mountain goats and pikas to the species that need wild land to survive.

Fighting climate change

Backing projects that restore forests, protect glaciers and snowpack, and cut emissions, so these places are still here for the next generation.

Supporting underserved communities

Helping people who've been left out of the outdoors get there, with gear, transportation, and guided first hikes, and supporting communities in need locally and around the world.

Clean water, food, and medical care

Bringing the basics to regions of the world that go without them: safe drinking water, reliable food, and access to medical care.

Where every dollar goes

First, the cost of running Neature. Hosting, data, email alerts, and keeping trail info accurate.

Then, everything else goes to the mission. Donated to partner organizations or used directly for projects in these four areas.

The bar shows the order money is used, not a fixed split. Actual figures go in each report.

Our transparency promise

Every quarter we publish what came in, what it cost to run the site, and exactly where the rest went, with receipts from the organizations we support.
