What you need
Parking and passes
Most Colville National Forest trailheads are free. A few developed sites need a Northwest Forest Pass, so check the trailhead sign.
Getting there
The hike starts at Trailhead on Tacoma Divide Road 2489. Save directions offline before you leave, since mountain roads often lose cell service.
