Alpine Lookout is a fire lookout reached by a 9.6-mile round trip from Round Mountain Trailhead. The route follows Round Mountain Trail #1529, then Nason Ridge Trail #1583, then Nason Ridge Lookout Spur Trail #1583.1 to the lookout.
Heads up: the last stretch to the top is off trail.
